Differences Between Classic ARM and ARM Cortex

What is the difference between a classic arm and arm cortex.
I got the classic arm processors earlier version of the arm processor but are they still in use?

  1. sageboy0918#0000

And I found that arm is use in so many places so where does those esp use? Other then projects?

  2. umeshlokhande#0000

I’m not sure what exactly classic ARM means here but I guess ur talking about ARMv7 architecture examples like lpc21xx series. They can be be found these days on legacy systems. Check online Plutox controller which is a part of nano drone from Drona aviation. They have used ESP as a wifi coprocessor and STM32 as a main controller to drive motors & others peripherals. Hope this answers ur other question, whr esp can be found.

  3. sageboy0918#0000

Yup, so esp are mostly used for wireless communications and network stuff.
