There are various easy ways to do it, but I saw this
I have a few questions
Please what’s the work of the transformer here
My guess is that is for galvanaic isolation
But from the bridge rectifier, the AC is now converted to DC
Which is connected to the mosfet, and then IC does the fast switching
But I’m confused, since transformers only allow AC
The IC and MOSFETs convert DC to high-frequency AC. This AC passes through the transformer, allowing isolation and voltage conversion. The transformer doesn’t work with the initial DC, but with the AC created by the switching circuit.
Ok, thanks,
So where does the actual DC convention to the output come in play?
Oh shot, I see another bridge rectifier at the output end
