Is Integrating a DLA with a RISC-V Processor a Worthy FYP?

Hi,Devs @Middleware & OS

I am currently working on a new project. The project entails how to integrate a DLA and a RISC V processor. However, I have some doubts with this.

The DLA is an open source project with everything already made including the UMD, KMD and compiler ready to use. And my project is to simply integrate it with RISC V and port some algorithm on it.

So I wanted to ask, is this worthy of an FYP?

If not, then how can I make this project better, are there any modifications I can do. The DLA isn’t ONNX compatible so I guess I can modify the UMD and KMD.

But, still are there any other modifications?

I would highly appreciate any advice/suggestion.
