Hello,
I have a mobile unit that I want to use to upload and receive data from a database like Firebase. Since Wi-Fi is not an option, I am considering using a GPRS (GSM) module, which utilizes the cellular network.
Has anyone tried this approach? If so,
What modules are suitable for this purpose? The most common option is the SIM800L, but it has two drawbacks: it is only 2G, which is slow, and it is difficult to use due to its wiring and power requirements.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance or information you can provide.
Thank you very much.
Hey check this out, this is a very good and nice option, it uses cat m and NB IOT which is faster and better than 2G protocol.
