Why electro-magnetic?
It’s like a new gen of flow meters , other types such as paddle shift are going outdated
Well I do not know your ultimate goal is, paddle type is still in demand. If you want to build a product and setup a company then imho magnetic type is very very ambitious (speaking with experience where I already designed electronics for float type flow meter)
Yeah my father own a digital flow meter company but he has come across many instances that customers are preferring electromagnetic ones over paddle shift . My end goal is productise my project , so atleast now I want to take my first step by designing a prototype which I can show as a clg project to gain certain benefits for clg and end up investing more time on this ( I would be glad if you can mentor me in this development)
That’s cool. I wanted to suggest the person for whom I designed previously. But you already own a company then this goes out of picture. Unfortunately, I have worked on low power electronics, not much idea on how to design a housing and electro-magnetic setup. This product has EMI-EMC challenges, I have no experience in it.
Ohh how unfortunate, I am facing issue with the voltage noise .

Can you give a little more details on the high level system design
so for a typical electromagnetic flowmeter we calculate flow of a fluid in pipe by measuring emf(cause by the fluid ) between 2 electrodes which are placed parallel to the magnetic field . When i try to get the reading of the emf using a oscilloscope which is connected to the electrodes , i am unable to get a clear signal
the Signal which i am getting has combination of voltage noise and actual signal ( in my case signal : noise ratio is low) .
Reason for noise generation –
1. cause of fluid chemistry
2. type of electrodes use
1 and 2 can do electrolytic reaction and interfere with readings
3. stray voltage in fluid
4.some fluid may have capacitance property
i have come to a conclusion that this can be rectified by changing the magnetic field with time
but for that for say x time the magnetic feild goes to 0
which causes issue with the calculation of the voltage
is there any other way to remove noise other than this

Voltage noise is main hurdle, since the induced measuring voltage is so small, it picks up noise easily.
Are you testing on water? may be distiiled water?
Are you using self made electrodes or standard one from the market?
Electromagnetic principle is not suited for all type of fluids, you will have to check this fist.
Housing of the electrodes also plays major role in noise isolation, it can pick up stray radiations from air if electrodes are not isolated for RF noise. You will have to isolate radiated and conducted both the EMIs. There might be chance of common mode & differential EMI picked up by electrodes, Opamps can help here possibly instrumentation amplifiler.
this can be solved by changing magnetic field with time this can be done by replacing magnetics with electromagnets which would be controlled with micro controller
currently testing with tap water but i want it to be compatible with all tips of fluids specially solvents
for prototyping i am using bolts as a electrode , i want to move to standard ones but i am kind of confuse regarding which type to choose
it is suitable for all types of fluids , but we need to change type of electrodes depending on the properties of the liquids
yeah , making a faraday’s cage can help , but how can i make one just for prototyping
So you are using normal magnets not electro-magnets?
This will be challenging. May be someone on the server with experience can suggest something.

I have contacted few companies which are ready to build the entire assembly for me , I just need to develop electronics circuit around it
But idk should I go with it or not
You should go with them if they have experience in it. Sometime doing everything by self just create lot of issues and lost time
Yeah I will be going with them , but know I need to focus on electronic circuit for it
