I’m looking to upgrade my hardware to professional embedded projects

Hey everyone! I’m looking to upgrade my hardware to professional embedded projects not for educational purposes , i would like it to handle AI tasks, i already have esp and raspberry Any recommendations ?

  1. hemalchevli#0000

Handling AI tasks is very broad, we can help you better if you give more details.

  2. wafa_ath#0000

I want something for real-time tasks like computer vision machine learning and sensor data processing. Also I want to make a prototype of my projects with, also budget friendly.. 😅

  3. aymen ammari#0000

    1. NVIDIA Jetson Nano/Orin

    2. Intel NUC or UP Boards

    3. Coral Dev Board

    4. BeagleBone AI-64

You take a look at these you maybe familiar with one

  4. aymen ammari#0000

The NVIDIA Jetson Nano and Coral Dev Board are the most budget-friendly options while still providing good AI performance.

  5. JeremyCook#0000

You might also consider the Coral USB accelerator: https://coral.ai/products/accelerator/ – Since you already have a Raspberry Pi (assuming you mean an SBC) that might represent a cost-effective option. OTOH, it’s been out a while, and I’m not sure if it’s been updated so I suspect that its AI capabilities are on the low side at this point (though I haven’t really researched). @wafa_ath
