Hi @false_goat the most effective path will be to start with learning C programming. And then pick up any 8-bit MCU, I suggest AVR ATmega328 and work with basic peripherals like *timer, interrupt, pwm etc.* Once you’re comfortable with 8-bit architecture move on to learning any 32-bit MCU like STM32/ESP32 etc. get comfortable working with serial protocols like *UART, I2C, SPI etc.* and then apply for an internship/job.
