Anyone tried using LoRa and/or Meshtastic for off-grid communications? Seems like a really neat concept, and if I’m getting this right it’s a matter of selecting the right LoRa device, installing firmware (if not pre-installed) and connecting to your phone via Bluetooth to send messages via LoRa.
Someone suggested a Lillygo device, not certain which of these would be best: https://lilygo.cc/products/lora3?variant=42476923781301
Also, this WisMesh Pocket V2 looks really cool, though I wonder how long its battery lasts: https://store.rakwireless.com/products/wismesh-pocket
