Virtualization is a trick of computing that makes applications believe they own all of a given resource, when in fact they are sharing resources with other workloads. This helps designers, historically in the data center, maximize resources and lower costs while supporting a larger number of jobs on a single piece of infrastructure.
Embedded virtualization is now gaining prominence, especially as what we once considered controllers add multiple cores. In this week’s Office Hours session, we review Embedded Virtualization as a technology, touch briefly on the advent of containers, then open it up to the community to ask about their experience, setbacks and successes with virtualization technology in embedded.
Join us on Friday, October 11th, at 15:00 GMT for an in-depth Office Hours session on Embedded Virtualization.
