Hello @m.alarab so I got a logic analyzer delivered and I tested the code I wrote for the CAN in loop back mode, it works really well. Next I am going to establish comm between two MCU, I have gotten a transceiver for it
Looks great! I’d like to know whether these modules require an external 120 ohm termination resistor, or if it’s already built into the module
they dont require an external 120ohm, they have that onboard
the chip is SN65HVD230
I have a purple MCP2551 module, and I suspect it might not include a terminating resistor. I’m still trying to find its schematic, as it’s from an unknown manufacturer
