Hello Guys,
This is related to a PR i am about to raise
It is a native I2C driver to zephyr
I had taken the inspiration of the code from the linux kernel
And as zephyr and lk have incompatible licenses
i was wondering if there are software to help detect possible infridgement so i could change those parts
Try:
https://github.com/aboutcode-org/scancode-toolkit
However, if you have only ‘taken inspiration’ from the Linux Kernel and are not just copying and pasting code (as in **you** wrote the code), then you _may_ not have a violation in the first place.
Note: I am being deliberately vague with my wording, as IANAL and so do not want to give any legal advice!
It’s Okay
I understand
Thanks for the abvove too!
